Ram 1500 Lunar Editions Announced

Introduced to the Ram lineup in 2021, the Ram 1500 TRX is a high-performance truck unlike any other. It comes with a 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 under the hood that produces a roaring 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, providing a top speed of 118 MPH, a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of 12.9 seconds at 108 MPH. The TRX features launch control to provide drivers with the fastest possible launch times. In addition to the exhilarating speed of the TRX, it also provides drivers with superior off-road capabilities, which start with the Bilstein Black Hawk e2 shock absorbers. These custom-built shocks provide nearly a foot of ground clearance to pass over rugged terrain. Plus, the shocks offer 13 inches of suspension travel in the front and 14 inches in the rear to keep the wheels moving while crawling over rocks and other trail obstacles. When the shocks approach full compression, a secondary piston will be engaged to prevent the truck from bottoming out. Other standard features include 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires, a functional hood scoop, a high-performance dual exhaust system, eight drive modes, and much more. The Lunar Edition adds even more impressive features to the TRX. The TRX Lunar Edition also features a Ceramic Gray paint job, like the Rebel. Other exterior features include cargo tie-downs, a spray-in bedliner, 18-inch black beadlock capable alloy wheels, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light. Inside, the TRX Lunar Edition distinguishes itself with Surf Blue accent stitching on premium leather upholstery, a ‘TRX’ badge embroidered on the front seatbacks, a head-up display, carbon fiber accents, a leather/carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel, a unique center console badge, and more.

The Rebel joined the Ram 1500 trim level lineup in 2016 and was carefully crafted to take on rugged terrain. In 2023, the Ram 1500 Rebel comes standard with 4×4, underbody skid plate protection, tow hooks, an off-road-tuned suspension, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, LED fog lights, an electronic locking rear axle, and one-inch factory lift. Meanwhile, newly standard for the 2023 Rebel is Selec-Speed Control, which essentially provides off-roaders with low-speed cruise control. In tough off-road conditions, the Selec-Speed system allows drivers to set a speed between 0.6 and 5 MPH. Once set, the truck will maintain that speed, leaving the driver to focus solely on maneuvering the terrain. The 2023 Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition gives the Rebel more personality with a one-of-a-kind exterior design. It begins with the new exclusive Ceramic Gray paint color, contrasted by the black fender flares, bumpers, wheels, badging, and grille. The Rebel Lunar Edition also features a Rebel decal on the hood and rear fenders. Stepping behind the wheel of the new Ram 1500 Rebel Lunar Edition, you’ll find premium features like the new 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen with Off-Road Pages, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and more. The Off-Road Pages, accessible on the 12-inch touchscreen, allow you to monitor the Rebel’s vehicle dynamics like steering angle, which axles are locked, gauges, pitch, roll, and much more.
