How Powerful is the 2025 Ramcharger?
While electrified vehicles are becoming more and more popular each year, many drivers are still not quite familiar with what they have to offer. If you’ve never driven an electric vehicle before, you might be wondering just what they can do in terms of power. The Ramcharger delivers everything you need, offering impressive figures when it comes to horsepower and torque. Thanks to its plug-in hybrid powertrain, the 2025 Ramcharger is rated at an impressive 663 horsepower and more than 615 lb-ft of torque! Not only that, but it can also accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds, a feat that’s impressive for any truck, hybrid or not! In terms of muscle, the Ramcharger can tow a best-in-class 14,000 pounds when equipped with a class 5 towing hitch, and it also boasts a maximum payload of up to 2,625 pounds.
What is the Ramcharger’s Electric Powertrain?
The most noticeable difference between the 2025 Ramcharger and the Ram trucks that you already know and love is the all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain! The Ramharger has elements of a traditional gas-powered vehicle, as well as electrified components that help make it more fuel-efficient. Let’s get down to the details! The Ramcharger features a 92 kilowatt-hour battery pack, which powers two electric drive modules, or EDMs, situated at the front and rear of the vehicle. These electric components work hand-in-hand with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, giving you the ability to switch between Hybrid, Electric, and eSave drive modes. When it comes to driving, the Ram 1500 Ramcharger offers all-wheel drive for better traction and handling.
Does the Ramcharger Offer On-Board Power?

Of course, you can still charge your Ramcharger using one of the many public chargers on the ever-expanding public charging network, but the Ramcharger also has its own supply as a backup. Plus, there’s also a 7.2 kW power panel built into the truck bed, so that you can power up your own tools and equipment on the go.
