The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe has a robust powertrain that incorporates a gas-powered engine alongside a rechargeable battery that supplies power to two electric motors. Specifically, the 2023 Grand Cherokee 4xe features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. The engine pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the whole system delivers up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe can tow up to 6,000 pounds, and it offers blue-painted tow hooks. There are also multiple 4X4 systems available depending on the trim level you choose. For example, the new 30th Anniversary Edition features the Quadra-Drive II system with locking rear differentials. Meanwhile, the Trailhawk trim adds class-exclusive sway bar disconnect.
