What Powers the 2023 Dodge Hornet?
Within the 2023 Dodge Hornet lineup, there are two equally impressive models. The GT and GT Plus are gas-powered vehicles, but they’re anything but average. These models feature the new 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo engine, which is engineered to be more efficient than previous Dodge engines. The Hurricane 4 is rated at 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, and the GT comes equipped with standard all-wheel drive for that extra road grip. The R/T, on the other hand, is Dodge’s first-ever PHEV, or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. The R/T features a 15.5-kWh battery that can take you up to a top speed of 128 miles per hour! Or, charge ahead to 60 miles per hour in just 6.1 seconds. The Hornet also offers KONI Frequency Selective Damping Suspension, cushioning your ride, and keeping everything poised. Four-piston Brembo brakes can bring you to a complete stop in just 138 feet when traveling at 62 miles per hour!

The Dodge brand is known for its bold looks, with a wealth of color options, stripes, badges, and other design features commonly seen throughout its lineup. The 2023 Dodge Hornet is no exception, offering a substantial range of exterior paint colors. You can also find specialty design themes like the Blacktop Package, which decks out your Hornet with sleek black accents. Meanwhile, the Track Pack Package adds Brembo brakes with bright red calipers, and 20-inch wheels. Standard on the Hornet, you’ll find full LED exterior lighting in the front and rear, while the R/T has dual-tip exhaust for that classic muscle car “growl.” Inside, the GT Plus has a sleek and comfortable cabin outfitted with heated and ventilated leather seats, and a heated steering wheel.
