New 2017 RAM 1500 at Don Vance Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM for Marshfield, MO

There is a lot of new and interesting additions to the 2017 RAM 1500 since the past year, and RAM certainly continues to deliver trusted core power and other truck-related abilities. For instance, the Laramie Longhorn trim adopts standard additions like Keyless Go, SmartBeam technology, LED truck bed lighting, and wipers that are rain-sensing. Not one to be left behind, the Sport model puts in a remote start and a security alarm for 2017, and then the Bighorn cools things off inside with automatic temperature control. The transmission is the eight-speed automatic, there is no need for any other. Air-filters are added into all cabins (all models) as standard. Don Vance Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & RAM is ready to help you explore this amazing light-duty truck here, on the phone, and in person whenever you want!

Under the 1500's Hood

The 2017 entry has a 3.6-liter V6 (gasoline) that sees 305 horsepower and cranks out 269 lb-ft of torque. There is a rear-wheel drive setup standard, however owners can choose between two 4WD systems that present themselves as available. A two-speed transfer case (with low-range gearing) fits either of those four-wheel drive setups. An eight-speed automatic is more than sufficient to be the transmission for the 2017 Ram 1500. The gasoline V6 can tow up to 7,610-lbs, and the V8 can tow up to 10,640-lbs, and diesel V6 achieves 9,210-lbs for towing (all need to be correctly equipped to do this). Standard on Limited, Laramie Longhorn, and Sport trims (not the HFE) is a 5.7-liter V8 that revs through 395 horsepower and employs 410 lb-ft of torque. Standard on the HFE (except Express, Sport, and Rebel) is the EcoDiesel engine: a 3.0-liter diesel V6 (turbocharged) that rockets up to 240 horsepower and has 420 lb-ft of torque.
